Hurst Performance, best known for their namesake shifters found in so many classic muscle cars, unveiled a limited edition customized Mustang on Tuesday afternoon at the 2009 SEMA Show.

“Hurst has a rich history with Ford and Ford enthusiasts. If you look into any performance enthusiast’s Mustang, you are very likely to find a Hurst shifter sitting there.” states Ron Flint, President of Hurst Performance Vehicles.

Hurst is looking to extend that history with the Performance Series Hurst/Mustang. It features Hurst's iconic white and gold livery and a host of performance upgrades. Unique front and rear spoilers give the car a more aggressive look. It rides on big 20-inch forged alloy wheels finished in black chrome and wearing BF Goodrich KDW performance tires.

Go fast elements include a Roush supercharger, Hurst/Wilwood performance brakes, Hurst/Eibach coil-over suspension, Hurst/Magnaflow stainless steel exhaust and of course a Hurst shifter with gold-anodized handle.

You can get your Hurst/Mustang as either a coupe of convertible, but only about 50 will be made each year -- so if you want one, you better act fast.
